Four-master
A four-master is a sailing ship, equipped with four Mât S.
The four-masters are subdivided in
- Four-masted barque, carrying a mast of boat gréé in triangular Brigantine and veils
- Square-rigged four master, bearing mizzenmast grée of a Artimon (a Brigantine in the modern gréements), and of a square headlight (together of several square sails in stage: a parrot of ardor and a parakeet).
- Four-master goélette, which carries a square headlight on and the veil foremast of stay (veil triangular) between its other masts, which carry veils to horn surmounted by an arrow. The mizzenmast is a mast of boat.
