The family of the Fouquieriaceae is an small family of plants Dicotylédone S. According to Watson & Dallwitz it includes/understands includes/understands 11 Espèce S into two kinds:
- Fouquieria and Idria
They are small trees or shrubs, more or less cactoïdes, thorn-bushes, succulent, arid regions, subtropics of North America and Central America.
According to the kind Idria is now built-in the kind Fouquieria .
