Fountain Valley is a city of the the United States located in the state of California in the Comté of Orange. Its zip code is 714. Its population was of: 54978 with the census of 2000. The city was incorporated in municipality in 1957.
Geography
Fountain Valley is a traditional Ville-dortoir located at 33°42 ′ 31 ″ NR, 117°57 ′ 23 ″ O, in the south-west and the North-East of the San Diego Freeway, which divides the city in two; and is surrounded by Huntington Beach, Westminster, Garden Grove, Santa Anna, and Costa Mesa. Its Eastern edge is the Santa Anna.
According to the Bureau of the census of the United States the city has an total surface area of 23,1 km ², including water 0,11%.
