Fountain-Lestang (Toulouse subway)
The station Fountain-Lestang is a station of the line has subway of Toulouse.
Situation
It is located in the district of Fountain-Lestang at the crossing of the streets Henri-Desbals and Vestrepain. This small square, from where share also the Lamartine avenue and which skirts the street of the Moselle, place Fountain-Lestang after the opening of the station was baptized. The street Henri-Desbals was called formerly way of Fountain-Lestang.During the inauguration of the line B on June 30th, 2007, this station was equipped with a quay with 6 doors which only enabled him to receive oars with 2 cars.
Structure
The access to the station, and the room of the tickets, are located in rez-of roadway, in a building pointing out the suburban style of the district.The work of art associated with the station was a kindergarten, imagined by Herve & Richard Di Rosa. With the passing of years, the sculpture-plays (the Eskimo-swivel , the Mandarin-swing , the Scale-cow-servant boy ) were gradually dismounted. There remains today only the fresco-mosaic entitled the pink of the winds , on the wall facing the exit of the station.
