The Fondation Louis de Broglie is a French foundation for the basic research in Physique having its seat with the Academy of Science. It was created in 1973 by Louis de Broglie itself at the time of the fiftieth birthday of its discovery of dualism wave/corpuscle. De Broglie bequeathed to its foundation the property acquired thanks to the amount of sound Nobel Prize.

Juridically, the Foundation Louis de Broglie profits from an open account within the Fondation of France.

The first two Presidents of the Foundation Louis de Broglie were Louis Néel (Nobel Prize of Physics) and Rene Thom (medal-holder Fields); its current president is Georges Lochak, a former collaborator of Louis de Broglie.

The foundation is defined itself as “ a meeting place and of discussion in the point of contemporary science for all the physicists eager to expose and confront results and from the points of view, in the humanistic spirit of opening and Tolérance of Louis de Broglie ”.
