Fouillouse

Fouillouse is a common French, located in the department of the the Loire and the area the Rhone-Alps.

Geography

It constitutes at the same time the bond and the green cut between two of the three large poles of the urban Aire of Saint-Etienne (the third being the Agglomération of Saint-Chamond): agglomeration of Saint-Etienne itself (whose downtown area is only to 10 km in South-east) and that of Andrézieux-Bouthéon (whose economic zone is at 4 km in the North-West).

History

Fouillouse is known to have accommodated a shooting party of the king François 1st, in the wood of Monichard, or boi of the King.
