Forza Motorsport
Forza Motorsport is a simulator of race studios Microsoft Games.
It is the first video game with being left on Xbox with being able to claim to compete with the series Gran Turismo, in the field of simulation.
The play on the whole presents nevertheless less cars than its competitor, but a rather significant number of mark. The originators of Forza Motorsport decided not to have same exhaustiveness as in the play PlayStation 2, preferring in particular to privilege the powerful cars with the historical cars or the mass-production cars. That does not prevent the play from containing old cars and visible cars on our roads daily, but in weaker proprtion than in Gran Turismo.
The interface is different also: in addition to the fact that Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport propose both an arcade mode and a mode centered on simulation, the player is accommodated differently.
Arcade mode
The Arcade mode proposes to the player to make (and to gain) races after, without profit with the key. It is broken up into 12 series: it should be finished a series so that the next one is released, and the circuits increase in difficulty. The series comprise on average three races, but some can contain two or four of them. The last series comprises only one race, since she proposes to gain a race on the Nurburgring Nordscheife, length of more than twenty kilometers.
In this mode, the player has a total freedom in the choice of the car which it will control. He can either choose a car of his private garage, or to choose between various classes qu one will find in the other modes of play:
The class D
It is the class of the small or compact cars, of the cars " normales" to some extent, standard Honda Civic, Peugeot 206…
The class C
It gathers more powerful cars, primarily trucks or half-compartments, like Audi S4 or Pontiac GTO, with already some rare cars, as the Lotus Elects, Turbo Porsche 944.
The class B
It is made up of sport scars, standard Audi RS6, Ford Mustang WP, Mazda RX-7.

They are sport scars of high efficiency, such Ferrari GTO, Porsche 911 GT3, or Dodge Viper
The class S
They are luxury cars, rare, like Ferrari Enzo, or Saleen S7.
The class R
They are racing cars racing of various type, divided under-modes, which increase with the power and the scarcity of the cars: it WP under-mode, with cars of the type supertourism (Audi Champion RS6) it under-mode GTR, with racing racing cars more powerful than the supertoursime (Saleen S 7R) it under-mode P, with racing racing cars standard Mans (Audi R8).
Circuits
The circuits available in the arcade mode are the same ones as those of the career mode. The circuits can be real, fictitious, or be fictitious while being based on side circuits. It is interesting to note that some are present in Gran Turismo, like Laguna Seca. It is noted that the circuit of New York borrows certain common portions with that of Gran Turismo: the two circuits pass in particular to the site of Colombus Circle and Time Square.
Career mode
It is the most important mode of the play: it is that where the player builds his career of virtual pilot. As in Gran Turismo, the player must gain races to release appropriations which will enable him to buy cars in dealers and parts of tuning in the specialized shops. The player starts with a capital of 40000 appropriations. It is proposed to the player to choose his geographical area between Europe, North America, and Asia. This choice will have effects on the career of the player since the purchase prices and sale of the cars. For example, to buy an ideal Japanese car to begin will be less expensive for the Asia zone, but to buy Ferrari or Porsche proves more expensive than in Europe.
The evolution in this mode is measured with the percentage, but also with the levels: by gain appropriations, the player increases level. The first races do not require in particular a level, but one is quickly confronted with the niveau5, level 10, etc… The levels increase quickly. With each end of the road, the player is informed on the number of appropriations that it remains to him before passing on the next level. When a player increases by a level, it resolves a partnership with a preparer (real), which will make it possible to profit from handing-over on parts of tuning. All this is however presented differently:
To pass to the race
As its name indicates it, it is in this section which the player will have to choose the races that it will make to gain of the appropriations and to evolve/move in the play.

Career on line: the players form their career while clashing between them on Xboxlive.

On section: This group proposes races " carry to porte" , on portions of circuit, it is accessible as of the first level, but it is necessary to have reached level 25 to hope to buckle it.
- Amateur: they are rather simple and not very restrictive races, level 0 at level 25.

Professional: more difficult races, with more appropriations to be gained, accessible starting from the level 10 and whose races spread out up to level 50.

To involve Drivatar
Drivatar is a pilot " alternatif" who controls in the place of the player while this last observes the course of the race. It is a mode similar to B-Spec de Gran Turismo. To deserve this drivatar, the player must involve it to take curves and turns on various circuits with different cars. The drivatar will have evil to take the types of curve which the player has of the evil to take, and so on.
To choose difficulty
Contrary to the majority of the other plays where the difficulty is centered on the easy/intermediate/difficult triptych, Forza Motorsport proposes a flexible difficulty point by point. For example, one can choose a very intelligent IA but a car without damage.
The way in which the difficulty is regulated interacts with the appropriations which gain the player. The more there is difficulty, the more the player earns money after the race, and conversely.
Multijouor
The multijouor mode is done either out of screen divided, or on Xboxlive. A table of the scores based on the whole network is available.
Against the watch
The player is subjected to the same conditions as in Arcade, except all the circuits are accessible immediately, and that the car is imposed.
Free motion
This mode makes it possible to the player to be involved with control without stake, through three modes:

the play manages the damage of the cars. They are external, initially. To roll against the rail of safety will rayera the car (and the car will leave traces of color on the rail). A shock against the rail or another car can damage the car: parts as the external rear view mirror can fall, the avoid-shock hangs. The damage is also interns, since a too violent shock will have consequences on the system of direction.
- the IA has a thorough development: the other cars do not seem to follow a preset layout, but especially, just like you can be aggressive against them, they can be aggressive against you, by pushing you, or while seeking to put to you on the side. The cars are, moreover, aggressive between them.
- As in other plays Xbox, it is possible to listen to its own music.
