Forty , in Occitan Notched , is a common French, located in the department of the Herault and the area Languedoc-Roussillon. Its inhabitants is called the " Quarantais".

Geography

The commune is located at the south-west of the department of Herault, close to the limit with the Aude, in the north of the Canal of the South.

History

1887: Construction of the castle of Roueïre.

1898: Erection of the wind mill of Bowlful, with the field of Roueïre, registered with the additional inventory of Historic buildings in 1987.
