Fors de Béarn

- Second edict of the valley of Winder: 1250
Posterior evolution
At the 16th century, whereas Béarn constituted an independent state, the monarchs Henri II of Navarre and Jeanne d' Albret reorganize and improve the fors .In 1620, Louis XIII attaches Béarn to the crown of France, but preserves the fors , which continue to govern the life of the Viscount until their abolition during the revolution of 1789.
