Forrest Gump is a American Dramatic comedy (1994) 6 times oscarized on the life of the Années 1950 with the Années 1980 in this country. In fact, its range was so large that, since this time, a small chain of restaurant of the name of Bubba Gump (project appearing in film) was created thanks to this film.

Synopsis

The film starts on a feather which flies away and which lands with the feet of Forrest Gump, simple of spirit, sitted on a bench while waiting for the Bus. It will tell the fabulous history which is its life with the passers by which will come to sit down on the bench. Of its childhood where it was physically Handicapé by its legs but that while being made continue by enfant terribles it managed to run more quickly than no matter whom, until the moment even where it tells his history. Forrest Gump will be soldier with the Vietnam, champion of table tennis, champion of American football, exceptional marathonian (thanks to his talents of runner), captain of Crevettier, and even Milliardaire. It Marie then with the woman of her dreams which he knows since always: Jenny. It will have a child with it but the latter died little of time after their marriage of the continuations of the complications of HIV, which left only Forrest with his/her son… Forrest!

  • It meets Richard Nixon, Lyndon Johnson, Elvis Presley, John F. Kennedy and John Lennon.
  • His/her mother would have called it Forrest in memory of Nathan Bedford Forrest a creator of the Ku Klux Klan to underline the fact that sometimes, in the life " one makes things which do not have many sens".   • Forrest Gump denounces in particular what will become the business of the Watergate. He yes, the lights that Forrest sees in the building of opposite and who prevent it from sleeping are in fact the flashlights of the commando charged to pose an apparatus of listening in the room of the democrats (then adversaries of Richard Nixon) inside Watergate, large hotel of Washington. The true story is that the caretaker of the hotel warned the police force of a burgling… Forrest Gump thus started the business of Watergate by calling this caretaker.
  • It takes again famous film extracts as The Birth off has Nation .
  • In favor of the relaxation, the United States tried a bringing together with China which does not have any more allies. The rupture sino-Soviet of 1964 is final. All begin with secret relations between Beijing and Washington which appear by competitions of ping pong whose Forrest Gump is the enthusiastic representative.
  • Thanks to its words on a plate of television while returning from China, it will inspire in John Lennon his famous song Imagine . When one compares what he says in film with the words of his song one includes/understands better.
  • Jenny announces in Forrest that it is reached of a " unknown virus that the doctors cannot guérir". At this time film, we are in 1982 what makes us say that Jenny is sick AIDS.

Forrest Gump is a true testimony invented on the second part of the 20th century of the United States.
