Foron is a satirical periodical in turn French being defined as the “  local monthly magazine of the Chablais   ” and the “  duck of the Léman   ” (in the spirit of the Duck connected ). It was published with Saw-on-Léman 1997 with 1999 by association Foron de Sciez . Its title refers to the lemanic river which crosses the commune, the latter having for currency “  Foron, not me rompt  ”. Wanting to be the successor of the newspaper the Peak , it ceased appearing after 26 numbers, greeted by its fellow-members Faucigny of Bonneville and the Savoyard Mail of Annecy.

Supplement data base

As of number 19 (1998), it publishes a supplement of Cartoon entitled Indgindu , thus taking again a “  international Fanzine of information on BD  ” created in 1994. This last published files and interviews on personalities working in the world of the Ninth art: Raoul Cauvin, Ernst, Midam, Batem, Stephan Steeman or Andre Franquin.
