The term formulation can take on several aspects:

• Initialement it acts of the action to formulate an expression ,

• but more recently this term with found a significance in the industrial field since it qualifies the action to formulate a product : a cosmetic product, a perfume, a painting, a plastic and even a product of agribusiness industry. The formulation is today one of the most important branches of the Chimie

Thus the formulation in chemical industry and parachemical includes/understands the whole of the knowledge and knowledge-to make necessary to the development of a commercial product.

The personnel of industries in responsibility of formulate products for a particular use is called formulateurs.

A formulation generally includes/understands one or more active and different compounds additive (dyes, perfumes, solvents, plasticizers, loads, reinforcements,…)

This very competing sector with developed additional methods such as the competing and/or technological day before and particulèrement the deformulation or " transfer engineering". This technique calls with the knowledge of the formulations and raw materials and the suitable analytical methods. The deformulation can be practiced by very undertaken laying out of sufficient analytical means or by calling upon specialized companies.
