Former radicular artery of Adamkiewicz
The former radicular artery of Adamkiewicz or large radicular artery former of Adamkiewicz of the name of Albert Adamkiewicz, is an artery bringing of the blood oxygenated towards the Spinal-cord.
The artery is born from the thoracic aorta and crosses the intervertebral foramen to the height of D11 - D12 approximately.
