Forgotten Worlds

Forgotten Worlds ( Lost Worlds with the Japan) is a Shoot them up developed by Capcom. Left in 1988, it was the first play to be turned on the system CPS-1.

History

In the future, an extraterrestrial civilization took the control of a planet which, fallen in ruins after the invasion, is from now on known under the name of Dust World (the Planet Dust). Two unknown soldiers, the “Without-Name”, equipped with Jet pack S try to drive out the invader in order to give again with planet his old name: the Ground.

Gameplay

Forgotten Worlds is played one or two players. Except for the last level, vertical, all the play follows a horizontal scrolling. Each player is in the skin of a soldier of the future able to float in the airs. The originality of the title comes owing to the fact that both “Without-Name” can draw on 360° around them and are equipped with a indestructible satellite with evolutionary armament, which is used to them at the same time of protection and especially as secondary weapon. According to the no-claims bonus collected or bought between two levels, the satellites can be equipped with more powerful lasers, a flame thrower or with missiles with homing device.
