Forging mill-the-Water

Forging mill-the-Water is a common French, located in the department of the Seine-Maritime and the area High-Normandy, famous for its casino.

The commune is classified “three flowers” with the Concours of the cities and flowered villages.

The legislation on the houses of plays prevented a long time that they are too close to Paris (from where Deauville) with however a tolerance for the thermal spas. The Forging mill-the-Water casino is thus that where one plays caster nearest to Paris with share Enghien-the-Baths. For some plays like the poker, it is Paris in easy circles of access such as that of the ACF.

Geography

History

Forging mill-the-water was the seat of the first butter contest of France, in 1906. Organized by the central company of agriculture of Seine-Lower, on the model of the British contests, this one was held under the market with the butter from May 31st to June 4th. The purpose of it was to improve the dairy and butter performances of the in particular high race Norman in the Pays of Bray. For the little story, gaining it of the contest in first category Vache “Princess was the ” belonging to a stockbreeder of Thil-Riberpré which produced 3,105 kg of butter during the contest and accepted a premium of 300 F. Following this contest, a trade union of dairy control was set up in the country of Bray.
