The forests of conifers tropical and subtropical constitute a terrestrial Biome of forest type. The plants which compose these forests are shrubs and roughcast trees of spine S, conifers and succulent plants.
This biome is located in the low zones where the dry season is long and precipitations are rare. One locates these vegetable formations in the Latitude S tropical and subtropical:
- Néarctique and Néotropique
- Indomalais
- in Southeast Asia
- in the tropical forests of the the Himalayas where 2 great units are gathered:
- subtropical forests of pine S, made up of Pinus yunnanensis and Pinus roxburghii
