Forest of Versailles
The forest of Versailles is a National forest French of 1 057 hectares located at the south of the town of Versailles in the Yvelines. It is a Forêt managed by the National office of the forests (ONF).
It extends on the communal terroires from Versailles, Guyancourt and Buc. It is bordered in north by the line the SNCF Paris Montparnasse - Granville, in the east by the Trunk road 186, the golf of Boulie on the commune of Jouy-in-Josas and the secondary road 446 (Versailles - Jouy-in-Josas), in the south by the cities of the Cabin-in-Josas, of Buc and Guyancourt and in the west by the district of L Épi of Gold to Saint-Cyr-the School.
It is crossed of is in west by the Trunk road 286 and, in North-South orientation, by the street of the Door of Buc in Versailles, by the slope Saint Martin's day , secondary road 938 (Versailles - Saint-Rémy-the-Chevreuse) and by the street Clément Ader , secondary road 91 (Versailles - Cernay-the-City). The military camp and the zone of activities of Satory are located at the right in the middle of this forest. An important part of the commune of Buc, the old village, forms a kind of invagination in the middle of this forest.
