Forest international Company and mine of Congo

The forest international Company and mine of Congo , or Forminière , are a company of forestry development and mining of the Belgian Congo, created by Jean Jadot in 1906, whose exploitation of Diamant in the province of the Kasaï starts in 1913. Formière worked mines of Or, money, and cultures of Coton, palm, Cacao and rubber, as well as firm S, Scierie S and Magasin S. The colonial State was joint owner with 50% of the capital of the company, the remainder majoriairement being majoriairement held by Americans.

In 1959 its production of diamonds rose with 425  234 Carat S.
