Forest-on-Mark

Forest-on-Mark is a common French, located in the department of the Northern (59) and the area Nord-Pas-de-Calais.

Its inhabitants is called Forestois.

Geography

Forest-on-mark is located at the east of the Agglomération inhabitant of Lille and at 5 km of the Belgium. The Marque is the Rivière which runs with the foot of the village.

History

Towards 1640, Forest-on-Mark is detached from the village of Ascq and becomes a Paroisse with whole share.
