Ford the U.K. Trucks was the English subsidiary company of the American automobile group Ford, specialized in the construction of light trucks and average tonnage.

Established in Trafford Park in Manchester in 1911 to manufacture light trucks American Ford TT, Ford the U.K. was called successively Fordson between 1933 and 1939, Fordson Thames until 1957 and Ford Thames until in 1965 and finally Ford the U.K. until 1986.

This unit was repurchased and integrated in the Italian group FIAT - IVECO into 1986 which marketed its own models under the Iveco label with in more the Ford logo on the grill.

Ford the U.K. built its reputation with its range Cargo, average truck carrying which is still manufactured in India under license by Ashok Leyland.

The site of Ford the U.K. was closed in October 1997.
