Force democratic
democratic Force was the name of a Political party French of center-right resulting from fusion of the Center from the social democrats or CDS and small social democrat Parti (UDF-PSD), a small part of center-left resulting from various scissions of the PS refusing the Common Program and the Union of the Left . Francois Bayrou had first of all thought of naming the party Force democratic and popular but the initial ones (FDP) would then have been those of FDP, the rival party of the German CDU, the party-brother of the Christian-Democrats of in addition to the Rhine.
Main component of the UDF at the end of the years 1990, it ended up merging with it at the time when Alain Madelin and its friends liberal left it to form liberal Démocratie (DLL).
The Jeunes Democrats constituted the youth movement of FD, and are today baptized the Jeunes UDF.
