Synopsis
Steve Thompson (Burt Lancaster) is a basic conveyer obsessed by its divorce. When it turns over to Los Angeles and finds his wife (Yvonne De Carlo), this one is about to marry the gangster Slim Dundee (daN Duryea). Thompson is then let involve in the hollows. It agrees to take part in the steering of its own van, in the intention to double Slim and to flee with Anna.
