For Science , re-examined monthly, is the French edition of the review of scientific Popularization American Scientific American . It is called the review of the Nobel because of the big number of articles written by future prizes winner of known as the price which it published.
The drafting, directed by Philippe Baker of his creation with 2005, is currently directed by Francoise Pétry.
In addition to Leitartikeces, it presents information on the international scientific topicality and proposes regular appointments the such Block-note of the mathematician of Bordeaux Didier Nordon, Logique and calculation of the data processing specialist inhabitant of Lille Jean-Paul Delahaye, or the chronicle in molecular Gastronomie of the physicochemist Herve This.

The principal articles of For Science , resulting from the translation of the articles of Scientific American , are supplemented by articles written by national authors. The same applies to the other national editions of Scientific American .
Its first number goes back to November 1977.
