FC Mantois 78 is a club of Football French founded in 1994. Mantes evolves/moves in 2007-2008 in championship of France Amateurs 2 (D5). The club is based with Mantes-the-City, in the western suburbs of Paris.

History

Climbing eight levels of the hierarchy in fifteen years, the athletic Cercle of Mantes-the-City reaches CFA as of 1968. The club then rises in Division 2 in 1971 and is maintained there four seasons. This period ostentation marked by the trainer Norbert Boucq does not last and the club plunges then of D2 in DHR…

A fusion with three implying the CAMV, the ACE Mantes and the ACE Buchelay gives rise to FC Mantois 78 in 1994. The FCM78 adopts colors blood and gold. Alain Polaniok joined the club as trainer in October 1994 and finds CFA.

In June 2005 Alain Polaniok leaves the club. The season which follows this departure sees the FCM78 descending in CFA 2. Since July 2006 the club is involved by former international Algerian Nordine Kourichi.

Formative club, the FCM78 in particular saw passing Amara Diane, Fousseni Tangara and Moussa Sow in its teams of young people.
