Foot board

Foot board or sometimes foot of board (in English: board foot ), measuring unit of volume American and Canadian used for the Wood gross of sawing. This term is used in the French version of the federal laws of the Canada (Law on the weights and measures, L.R. 1985).

A foot-board is equivalent to:

  • 1 foot × 1 foot × 1 inch (Po)
  • 12 inches × 12 inches × 1 inch
  • 144 Po ³
  • 1⁄12 foot ³
  • 2.360 Liter S or millistères
  • 0.002360 M ³ or Stere S
