Follainville-Dennemont

Follainville-Dennemont is a common department of the Yvelines, in the area Île-de-France, in France.

The commune of Follainville-Dennemont is located in the perimeter of the Regional natural park of French Vexin.

The name of Dennemont comes from the Latin Dianae Mons , the mounts of Diane.

The inhabitants are called Follainvillois.

Geography

Follainville-Dennemont is a bordering commune of the the Seine, located on Right Bank, vis-a-vis Mantes-the-Pretty. They is bordering on Limay and Fontenay-Saint-Father in the east, on Guernes and Saint-Martin-the-Garenne in the west and on Vétheuil (Val-d'Oise) in north.

It includes/understands two villages distant from 1,5 km one of the other, Follainville located at 100 m of altitude with semi-slope of a hill, and Dennemont located in edge of the Seine.

Most of the territory is covered of Forêt S.

Culture
