Focusing
The focusing , sometimes also called centering , is a technique of personal Développement developped at the point by Eugene Gendlin (philosopher and American psychotherapist born in 1926) at the end of the Années 1960.
The focusing is a technique which makes it possible to come into contact in a different way with its felt body. From this experiment are born from the words, of the images, of the unexpected emotions, which while coming to the conscience, constitute a help with the evolution and the change. A meeting of focusing proceeds in six stages (see the heading external bonds).
According to its promoters, the focusing can be used like a complement with the various psychotherapy techniques, but does not constitute a psychotherapy in itself.
