Flying carpet (attraction)

See also: Carpet stealing

The Tapis stealing is an attraction of the type pendulum, mainly used in the fun fairs and sometimes the amusement parks.

Concept and operation

Attraction consists of a nacelle supported by four arms forming a rectangle on the ground. The nacelle carries out pendular motions of before behind and can carry out complete rotations. However the systems of support does not make it possible to carry out inversions, the nacelle remains parallel on the ground during all the duration of attraction.

Attraction differs from the Rainbow by the fact that the support consists of four arms forming a rectangle and not single arm.

Alternative

There exist attractions based on the carpet flying but rotating in the direction of the dispatcher and not length of the nacelle. See Signal Spin.
