Fluorine 18

The fluorine 18 (189F) is a Radioisotope of the Atome of Fluor of Atomic mass 18 (9 Proton S and 9 Neutron S) and whose Demi-vie is of approximately 2 hours.

2--fluorine-2-deoxy-D-glucose (18F-FDG)

Integrated in a Molecule of Glucose where it replaces a grouping Hydroxyle, the 18F is used in Nuclear medicine for the imagery Mtoe.
