Flowing

Fluent is a mechanical software of modeling in of the fluids.

This software is right the solvor, it does not net the system. The grid must be carried out with a maillor, Gambit for example, which is carried out by the same editor. The parameter setting is done by an graphical interface. This software allows the installation of script to automate the computing processes.

Flowing is undoubtedly the software of digital simulation of mechanics of the fluids more succeeded of the market. It is even recently integrated in the famous continuation of software of simulation ANSYS.

Its force comes from the very great number of models available, being able to face very many aspects of the mechanics of the fluids: Diphasic flow (miscible, nonmiscible, cavitation, solidification), turbulence (THEM, KE, kw, SA, Reynolds stress…), combustion (pre mixed and nonpre mixed), transport of particles, flow in porous environments, grids mobile and dynamic with rebuilding of the grid… The temporal and space diagrams can moreover be modified to improve convergence.

It moreover is paralleled and thus makes it possible to as well benefit from systems multiprocessors within an only machine as in network (cluster, dualcore, platform multi CPU).
