Florentin Smarandache
Florentin Smarandache (born the December 10th 1954 with Bălceşti, Judeţ de Vâlcea, Romania) is a mathematician, writer, and Universitaire roumano - American French-speaking.
He is a dissenting mathematician. That means that its work is rejected by the international mathematical community. It is thus a misunderstood genius, or, under another point of view, a scientific low-weight agitator. Florentin Smarandache says victim of a scientific Maffia .

It was made known in the field of the Theory Analytical of the Numbers, with concepts of functions, sequences, constants, paradoxes. Several mathematicians ten books and a hundred articles published on the Smarandache concepts.
In 1997, the University of Craiova organizes the first International Conference, the Concepts Smarandache in the Theory of the Numbers, the researchers who take part in it come from Romania, Sweden, France, Russia, Spain.
Publications
1970- it starts to collaborate in the review of the Teaching College, Năzuinte (Idéals) and then with many Rumanian and foreign reviews (about fifty scientific magazines and a hundred literary reviews). It translates itself part of its English and French works, but its works are also translated into Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Esperanto, Russian, Serb, Japanese, Arab. He collaborates with poems and plays in 42 anthologies Rumanian, French, Italian, American, Indian, Korean. Prolific author, he is also joint author and editor of 71 pounds and more than 80 articles in the fields of mathematics (theory of the numbers, not-Euclidean geometry, logic), of physics, philosophy, the literature (poems, news, stories, novels, theater, tests, translations, interviews), of the rebus (enigmas), of art (experiments in drawing, painting, joining, photography, art on the computer). He writes in Rumanian, French and English:
Formulas pentru spirit (Formulas for the spirit) - leading beginning, under the pseudonym Ovidiu Florentin, 1981 the direction of the nonsense, Problems with and without… problems! (interviews) Târgoviste, Romania, 1999; Outer-art (two albums of art), Cântece of mahala, in seven languages (poems) Oradea, Romania, 2000, has Unifying Field in Logics. Neutrosophy. Neutrosophic Probability, Neutrosophic Set and Neutrosophic Logic, Rehoboth, the United States, 2000.
It published Fourth International Anthology one Paradoxism (which contain a hundred writers of the whole world) and also Third International Anthology one Paradoxism (towards paradoxists of forty poets) Oradea, Romania, 2000.
Logic
It generalized logics fuzzy, intuitive, paraconsistante, plurivalent and logic dialetheist with neutrosophic logic (also called Smarandache logic, in Dictionary off Computing, Denis Howe); same manner, it generalized the fuzzy unit with the unit neutrosophic. He proposed the extension of the traditional and vague probabilities to the “neutrosophic probability”, as a three-dimensional vector whose components are subsets of the interval not-standard] - 0, 1+
The fusion of information
Since 2002, he works with French, Dr. Jean Dezert of the National office of Aeronautical Searchs for Paris on the fusion of information, extending the Dempster-Shafer Theory to a new theory of fusion of plausible information and paradoxist (called Théorie Dezert-Smarandache).
Physics
In physics, it put forth the discussed assumption which there does not exist any barrier speed in the universe, i.e. speed would be infinite (the Smarandache assumption in Dictionary off Physics, Eric Weisstein).
Philosophy
In philosophy, it introduced the concept of “neutrosophie”, like a generalization of dialectical of Hegel, which are the base of its research in mathematics and economy, among which neutrosophic logic, the unit neutrosophic, the neutrosophic probability, the neutrosophic statistics.
Literature
In the literature and art, it founded, in 1980, the current of avant-garde “the paradoxism”, a protest against totalitarianism. The paradoxism is the excessive use of contradictions, the antitheses, the discrepancies, will oxymorons, the paradoxes. It introduced “the worms paradoxist”, “the worms tautological”, “the worms dual”.It carries out literary experiments in the dramatic part Patria de Animale (Country of animals) where there is no dialog; in O lume întoarsă EP back the sequences are permuted, by creating innumerable distinct plays.
Its parts were put in scene in Romania (the Theater I.D.Sârbu de Petroşani, the Theater Thespis de Timişoara) in Germany (Karlsruhe) in Morocco (Casablanca, where Patria de Animale obtained the Special price of the International jury).
The libraries of Arizona State University (Temple) and University off Texas (Austin) preserve manuscripts, reviews, books, photographs, cassettes, vidéos on its activity, in two special collections, called The Florentin Smarandache Papers.
