Florac
Florac (occitan: Florac ) is a common French, located in the department of the Lozere and the area Languedoc-Roussillon. Its inhabitants is called Floracois.
Geography
Florac is located on the Tarnon in the middle of the National park of the Cevennes, with the entry of the Gorges of the Tarn, with the foot of the Causse Méjean and the the Cevennes. The city is bathed by the Tarnon and the Mimente which have their confluence there.
History
The shortly after the Massacre of the St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre, it is taken and put in a state of defense by the Protestants.
