Flora mellifère
The plants mellifères produce Substance S collected by the Insecte S butineurs to be transformed into Miel. Many Plante S is mellifères, but only one part can be butinée by the domestic bees because of their Morphologie (obstruction of the body, length of horn…). The Bee-keeping class a plant as mellifère when it is exploitable by the domestic bee.
The table below counts part of the plants mellifères in France, by indicating the period of Floraison of those, as well as the various resources to which access the bees have (nectar, Pollen, Propolis, and Miellat). It should be noted that each plant provides neither the same quantity, nor the same quality of these substances from one species to another, and that even for the same species that can vary according to the area, the purpose of the health of the plant, the variations of climate… This table is thus only to show so yes or not the plant produces one or the other of these exploitable raw materials by the bees with honey (Apis Mellifera).
