Florée

Florée (in Walloon Florêye ) is a section of the common Belgian of Assesse located in Walloon region in the Province of Namur.

It was a commune with whole share before the fusion of the communes of 1977.

There are more or less 1000 inhabitants with the hamlet of Maibelle, located at 2 km from there.

This village is famous for:

  • Its large fire (the weekend of the change of hour)

  • Its village fair (the last weekend of July) which lasts 4 days in an environment of fire
