Flight 091 Mandala Airlines
The flight IH 091 of the Mandala Airlines is a flight of a Airline company indonésienne which was crushed in an inhabited street of the town of Medan, in the west of the Indonesia (island of Sumatra), Monday September 5th 2005.
The Boeing 737 -200 transported 112 people including three children and five team members in an interior flight between the town of Medan, and the capital Jakarta.
The accident occurred with 09:40 local (02h40 GMT) in a district densément populated of the town of Medan to a few kilometers of the Polonia airport, located in the downtown area. Among the passengers, there are 111 died and only 6 survivors. While about thirty inhabitants died.
A survivor affirmed that after takeoff, the noise of an engine suddenly became very extremely and that the plane started to tremble very extremely, before falling.
Two governmental high ranking officials, the governor of the province of Sumatra of North, Rizal Nurdin, and its predecessor, Rajah Inal Siregar, is with the number of the victims.

The plane concerned was a Boeing 737. It was manufactured in 1981.Mandala is a privately held company managed and had by the soldiers indonésiens. The army thus has many private interests which enable him to be financed.
