Flemish Committee of France

The Flemish Comité of France was founded in 1853 by Edmond de Coussemaker. The purpose of this learned society is the study and the diffusion of the culture Flemish E (Histoire, Littérature, Musicologie, Architecture, Langue…) in French Flanders (districts of Dunkirk, Lille and Douai). The Flemish Committee has a Bibliothèque with Hazebrouck (above the museum of Augustins).
