Flat-bottom Martin

Flat-bottom Martin , Major general (born the March 18th 1763 with Marsillargues, dead the November 14th 1824 with Paris), is a French general of the Revolution and Empire.

Chief of staff to the Armed with Italy, it made the countryside of Savoy. Appointed Minister for the War of the Republic cisalpine, it is then transferred chief of staff of the Armée with Holland in 1803.

Under the Restoration, it is named prefect of Corsica in 1818.

Originating in Languedoc, he is elected appointed Gard where he died in 1824.
