Flat-Out

Flat-Out is a play of race and simulation, created by BugBear Entertainment and left in November 2004.

Description

It is a play where the goal is to gain the various tests, but also not to be made destroy by the adversaries. For that, the play uses a physical engine which makes it possible to better model the impacts and, thus, of better " détruire" cars and the ground. Therefore, graphics are very beautiful for a play of this type and control is pleasant, so much the landscape is sympathetic nerve.

The play proposes, in addition to the simple races (against-the-watch, career,…), a mode where one can improve his car to make it more powerful (tuning). One finds other modes there, such as the " destruction derby" where the goal is to remain longest in an arena where the competitors destroy the cars mutually, or, the no-claims bonus modes where one must make long jumps and height by ejecting his character of the car to make him make the most powerful possible jump.

Side vehicles and races, the choice is not very abundant but, as the play is especially intended for the destruction, ten racing cars and about thirty grounds are largely enough.

Side handiness, the play is very flexible and control changes little according to the vehicles since those resemble each other much: big car very heavy and fast.

Side bandage, the developers chose Hard rock which sticks very well with this type of play since it is rather violent and brutal.

A continuation of the play is planned for first half of the year of 2006 with, in particular, an improved physical engine and more races and cars.
