Synopsis
In 1933, a group of colonists comes in Abitibi to clear the ground there and to found a parish there. The chansonnier Felix Leclerc is present, in song, at each dramatic moment of the intrigue. During three years of labors, the colonists will take the measurement of Community solidarity essential with their survival vis-a-vis the rules of colonization, with the plans of construction to be drawn and the councils on the way of cultivating. In the incipient social relations, with the implication of the priest, they will be confronted with problems like the usurious alcoholism, debt, loans and illiteracy. In their leisures, the song, the dance and the folklore Québécois will have a great place.
