Flames of Saint-John
The Flames of Saint-John or Flames of Midsummer's Day were a professional frankness from Hockey having evolved/moved in the American Ligue of hockey of 1993 with 2003 with Midsummer's Day in the province of the New Brunswick to the Canada. They were affiliated with the Flames of Calgary of the National league of hockey.
History
Their greater success was the victory at the time of the edition 2001 of the finale of the Coupe Calder in leue skating rink of the Harbor Station against the Penguins de Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, the club-school of the Penguins de Pittsburgh. The Flames gained the series four parts with two with a score of 1 goals to 0 at the time of the final match. In 1998, the Flames were also applicants with the Coupe Calder but were inclined in 6 parts in front of the Phantoms of Philadelphia.The team was transferred in the town of Omaha to the Nebraska in 2005 and it currently evolves/moves under the name of the Ak-Sar-Ben Knights d' Omaha. Hockey with Saint-John is now represented by the Sea Dogs of Midsummer's Day of the Ligue of hockey major junior of Quebec.
Famous players
Several players of the Flames of Saint-John managed to play in the National league of hockey: at the time of the edition 2004 of the finale of the Cut Stanley between the Flames of Calgary and the Lightning de Tampa Bay, one did not count less than 17 players having played a time within the Flames of Saint-John.
