Flag of the British Virgin Islands
The flag of the British Virgin Islands, together of islands in the Caraïbe zone which are under the authority of the United Kingdom, is composed of:

of the flag of the Metropolis angaise, and more precisely of the Union Jack, which represents a quarter of the flag in top, on the left as to recall that these islands belong to.

the blue bottom represents the Atlantic Ocean

the blazon which is reproduced on the flag represents a woman placed between two formed columns, each one by six superimposed oil lamps. She holds one in the right hand of them. Under the blazon, a yellow roller is marked " Vigilate" , i.e., in Latin " Would be vigilant".
