Flag of Sudan
The flag of the Sudan was adopted the May 20th 1970. It is made up of three bands of color red, white and black, as well as green triangle Before the Coup d'etat of Gaafar Nimeiry, Sudan had another Tricolor, of color blue, yellow and green. The flag is based on the Couleurs panarabes.
Symbolism

the red color represents the Socialisme, the fight and the blood of the Sudanese combatants, as well as the Arab nation.

the white represents, the purity and optimism.

the black represents Sudan, and the revolution of Mahdi.

the green triangle represents prosperity, agriculture and the Islam.
