Flag of Maldives
The flag of the Maldives is made of a white crescent symbolizing the Islam on green bottom symbol of Paix and Prospérité framed of red, color of Maldives because it represents the blood poured during the fight for the Indépendance. The concave part of the crescent is turned towards the pole of the flag. This flag was creates in 1965, at the time of the independence of Maldives.
