Flag of Kuwait
In 1961, with the expiry of the British Protectorate, the independence of the Kuwait was proclaimed. For the development of the flag of Kuwait , the Couleurs panarabes were selected for the development of new a Drapeau.
-
the black would symbolize the defeat of the enemies on the battle field.
- the red represents the reddened saber of their blood.
- the white purity of their actions.
- green fertility of their countries.
It is almost certain that the drawing of the flag could be influenced by its two large neighbors: the Iran and the Iraq. Iraq was, then, the only state in the world to present a trapezoid to the pole like three horizontal bands.
This one was officially hoisted the November 24th 1961
