Flag of Kenya

The Drapeau of Kenya was officially adopted the December 12th 1963. It is based mainly on the flag of the KANU (Kenya African National Union), it left which carried out the fight for the freedom and the independence of the Kenya.

The Noir represents the Kenyan people, the Rouge, the cast blood during the fight for the independence of the country, and the Vert for the natural wealth of Kenya. The white bands were added to independence to symbolize the Paix. The shield and the two traditional lances Masaï symbolize the defense of these symbols and the Liberté.
