Flag of Brazil
The Drapeau of the Brésil was legatee on November 19th 1889, following the declaration of independence of Brazil by the emperor Pedro {{Ier}} on September 7th 1822, then with the proclamation of the republic in 1889.
The principal colors symbolize the richnesses of Brazil there: green for the Equatorial forest and the yellow (gold) for the resources of the basement. The central sphere represents the sky, with in the center the Cross of the South, Christian symbol and southern symbol.
Around, 27 white stars which represent the 26 federate states as well as the district of Brasilia. Their provision corresponds to the aspect of the sky of Rio de Janeiro, the November 15th 1889 with 20:30 (proclamation of the Republic).
The provision of the constellations around the Croix of the South is almost respected. (Puppy, Large Dog, Hydre female, Hull, Octant, Virgin, southern Triangle, Scorpion)
On the central stringcourse, “ORDEM E PROGRESSO is written” (Order and progress), the currency of the Positivisme rested by the French philosopher Auguste Count.
