Flag of Botswana
The Flag of the Botswana, adopted the September 30th 1966, is clearly composed of a bottom Bleu with a horizontal band Noir E in the center, broadside of Blanc. The blue symbolizes the Eau, and more precisely the Pluie which is the national currency (Pula in Tswanan). The black and white bands represent the harmony between the races, and also refer to the Zèbre which are represented on the emblem of the country.
