Flag of Argentina

The Drapeau of the Argentine consists of two horizontal bands blue sky separated by a white band. In its center is placed a gilded sun, the Sol of Mayo.

According to the tradition, it was created in 1812 by the intellectual become general Manuel Belgrano when it looked at the sun in front of the coasts of the ParanĂ¡, from the town of Rosario. Much country took as a starting point the Argentinian flag.
