Fjärås

Fjärås is a parish of the west of the Sweden, located at the north of the county of Halland, on the territory of the current commune of Kungsbacka.

Demography

At the beginning of 2006, the population of the parish of Fjärås was estimated at 5  133 people (against 3  250 in 1906).

Places and monuments

• Fjärås bräcka , glacial Moraine with presence of a field of 125 menhirs dating from the age of iron
• medieval Church increased in 1700-1702, 1762-1768 and 1801
• Lake of Lygnern, considered to be the third purest lake of Europe
