Five trial marriage is an American film of Edmund Goulding left in 1952.

Synopsis

One evening of Christmas, Cleaned and Steve enter in a Justice of the Peace of a small town of the east of the the United States specialized the fast marriages and at any hour. In spite of the fact that the old judge does not inspire really confidence to them because it comes to receive its authorization to exert, they marry.

Two years and half later, another magistrate discovers that the judge exerted a few days too early, the validity of his new load coming into effect only on January 1st. During about eight day concerned, the judge married six couples. As one of these illegal unions was already regularized by a divorce, there remain five marriages " with the essai" to treat. The magistrate their writing to inform them of this blunder.

Cleaned and Steve Gladwyn work of par in a radiophonic popular emission where they form the perfect couple, a true example for all the American families. One cannot really say that their private life is, it, idyllic. They receive the letter which announces that their marriage is not valid. Some general remarks

  • It acts in fact of a Film to sketches - various visions of the life of couple, various solutions - connected by the central argument of administrative cancellation several marriages.
  • the production of film was ensured by Nunnally Johnson, also Co-auteur of the Scénario, which worked several times with Marilyn Monroe and which, in spite of this, was due of the extremely hard remarks in its connection. Marilyn Monroe

15th film for Marilyn Monroe which is in 4th place of the generic .
